Kats Year 10 v Willetton at Winnacott Reserve, Sunday 9th May @ 3.00pm
A strong opening and third quarter performance saw the Kats maintain their clean record for 2021 against a Willetton team that challenged the Kats all afternoon.
Highlights were; the tight team defensive unit that fought hard all day to neutralise Willetton’s forward entries, a successful tagging operation ensuring their key midfielders were always under pressure a willingness to pull the trigger early on “45 degree” kicks when exiting our defence allowing our forwards to run into plenty of space.
The final result was Kats 11:9 (75) to Willetton 7:7 (49).
