As a well respected Kats member and coach the club wanted to acknowledge the contribution that Brad made to the club. Very fittingly the Brad Puls Coaching Recognition Award has been named in his honour.

The award was implemented in consultation with Brad’s wife and two sons, both of whom played for the Winnacott Kats Junior Football Club and the 2015 Winnacott Year 11 Team.

Brad coached at the Kats between 2013 – 2015 and lead his team to back to back premiership victories in seasons 2013 and 2014.

Brad was a great coach, mentor and friend to not only his team of players, but everyone at the Winnacott Kats. Brad is sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all.

At the end of each season nominations are sought for the Brad Puls Coaching Recognition Award, with nominees needing to meet the selection criteria.
