In conjunction with NAIDOC week the Kats Year 11/12 team officially unveiled the clubs inaugural indigenous jumper.

The Kats and opposing team Jandakot, respectfully grouped together pre game, with the NAIDOC preamble being read by Jack Blurton.

The Winnacott Kats Junior Football Club thank Teyha Jamieson for designing our new indigenous jumper and our sponsor Firesafe Group Pty Ltd.

At the conclusion of the formalities it was game on as the Kats took on top of the ladder, Jandakot.

The Kats won the toss and some excellent passages of play saw them up by 2 points at quarter time. This was the start the team had hoped for.

Jandakot added 3 quick, unanswered goals in the 2nd quarter. The Kats two shots on goal were a bit wayward, with their score only increasing by 2 points for the term. Jandakot held a very handy 28 point lead at half time.

The Kats 3rd quarter, more often than not, has been their best. An additional 2 goals 1 however was not enough with Jandakot increasing the margin in their favour by 3 goals.

The Kats were out run and out played, with Jandakot adding 2 goals 4 to the Kats 1 goal in the 4th.

Final score: Kats 5.5:35 to Jandakot 13.6:84

Goals: 1 each to Jack B, Riley, Callan, Terry and Even.

Congratulations to Beau who celebrated his 100th game of junior footy. Well done.
